Return policies

Product Returns
All non-defective product return requests must be made within 60 days of the invoice date, unless specified otherwise. This includes AIS shipping errors. Please be sure to check your delivery carefully when received, to verify that it was processed and shipped correctly.  Any discrepancies must be reported to AISINK.COM. Discrepancies not reported will be considered to have been received correctly in full.


Exceptions:

  • Computers, peripherals and software must be returned within 30 days.
  • Laptop computers must be returned within 2 weeks.
  • Software must be returned unopened and in its original packaging.
  • Defective software must be returned within 30 days.
Prior to any merchandise return, the customer must complete & submit the  AIS RMA FORM (PDF) or contact A.I.S. at (800) 805-7720 to obtain an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number.


NOTE: RMA Numbers are valid for 30 days

Once received, A.I.S. will process your return authorization and issue you the assigned RMA number.  If applicable, you may also receive a prepaid return label for use with your return.  Prepaid labels are provided for AIS shipping errors and defective product returns.  
 
All non-defective product returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee (excluding defective) and are required to have the A.I.S.-issued RMA number clearly marked on all boxes and/or labels.  Any package received without an RMA number will be refused.

All non-defective returns must be in resellable condition in order to receive a refund or credit. The return product must be returned sealed and in the original product box and with the original packing materials.

Please Do Not Mark on the product box.  Non-defective products returned with marks, stickers,tape, tags, packing labels or writing on the product boxes will not be accepted and will be returned to you at your expense.  The original product box must be returned inside a separate shipping carton with the AIS, INC. RMA number clearly marked on the label.
 
All instructions must be followed in order to receive credit on your return.

Special Order items & discontinued items are not returnable.

The customer is held responsible for all freight charges on returns.  Freight credit will not be issued for customer error. In the event a prepaid return label was provided and the return is deemed client error, AISINK.com reserves the right to bill the said customer for any freight charges incurred for the return. 

Customer understands a credit for the returned product will not be issued until the return has been received and inspected. (Estimated average processing time 2-4 weeks)   


Defective Product Returns

All claims for defective product must be made prior to the end of the product warranty period outlined in the warranties section, noted previously or in the Technical Specifications field of an individual item. Defective product must be returned in the original packaging with its original packing materials.

All defective returns will be inspected. Product that is found to be non-defective or used will not be credited.  Such product will be returned to the customer at the customer’s expense.


Products Damaged in Transit


If your package or product has been damaged in transit, you must contact the carrier and file a claim.  You must comply with all of the specific carrier’s rules and procedures regarding damage claims.

Please keep a record of the dates of the claim, the contact and with whom you spoke, as failure to do so may break your claim with A.I.S. and eliminate our responsibility for a refund or credit.

Record the necessary information on the AIS RMA FORM (PDF) and submit the completed form to AIS Inc. for processing.



If replacement product is needed, please indicate this in Section D of the Return Authorization Form. Once your completed Return Authorization Form is received and processed, one of our Customer Service
Representatives will contact you with to provide you with your assigned RMA number and your replacement
order number.  

WARRANTY LIMITATIONS
There are no other express warranties or conditions with respect to the equipment and products offered on this site. Implied warranties, if any, are limited to the duration of the warranties as outlined in the warranty section and also in the Technical Specifications section of individual items.  The previous statement does not apply to those localities that do not allow the limitation of implied warranties.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

In no event shall AIS, INC. or its affiliates be liable for any indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages including but not limited to loss of use, loss of data, loss of business or profits.
